Medical Degree obtained from The University of Saint Andres, La Paz- Bolivia. Postgraduate studies at the University of Miami, Lincoln Memorial Hospital, New York City and Saint Mary’s Hospital, Rochester- New York. I successfully passed the Examination of Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography administered by The National Board of Echocardiography, and Certified as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer by The ARDMS.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine, with great interest in Cardiology. I consider my practice as a bridge between these two specialties. This provides me with a greater understanding of Primary Cardiology and proper referral to the Interventional Cardiologist when it is indicated.
I truly believe in Preventive Medicine, which is why I held the position of medical Director of the Center of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham, North Carolina since its opening in the year 2004. It is my standard practice to inform my patients in great detail about their medical condition which allows me to obtain a true partnership and more optimal management of their medical condition.
